Sarah Marie Blanton has been performing as a Country Singer / Songwriter for almost 15 years, she was crowned Ms. Texas United States in January and has been dedicating her time to her newly formed “Prince and Princess for a Night” foundation benefiting the future of homeless, neglected, foster or orphaned children in the United States. She partners with athletes and sports venues to host 10 children to experience an once-in-a-lifetime experience and to feel true community love and support. The events promote “Dreams are Reality” with key sports figures sharing their journey and explaining basic concepts about staying in school and becoming involved in sports. Sarah Marie is also honored partner with the Lone Survivor Foundation and help restore, empower, and renew hope for our wounded warriors and their families through health, wellness, and therapeutic support. The Miss United States Pageant takes place on 4th of July weekend in Washington D.C.
Sarah Marie Blanton is a resident of the Houston Heights community and has been a Texan for 8 years. Born in Ashtabula Ohio, Sarah Marie shares the same birthplace as The Ohio State Football Head Coach, Urban Meyer. She attended Cleveland State University and graduated with a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast and Marketing. Sarah Marie worked for IndyCar racing for almost 10 years before taking on the position of Manager of PR and Marketing for the Harris County – Houston Sports Authority.
